set password visible in android 1

set password visible in android

 button.setOnTouchListener(new View.OnTouchListener() {
        @Override
        public boolean onTouch(View view, MotionEvent motionEvent) {
            if(button.isPressed()) {
                upass.setInputType(InputType.TYPE_TEXT_VARIATION_PASSWORD);
                return true;
            }
            return true;
        }
   });

Here is what the above code is Doing:
1. It’s setting the input type of the EditText to password.
2. It’s setting the input type of the EditText to text when the button is pressed.
3. It’s setting the input type of the EditText to password when the button is not pressed.

The problem is that the button is not pressed when the user clicks on it.

I’ve tried using the onClickListener, but it doesn’t work.

I’ve also tried using the onTouchListener, but it doesn’t work either.
