git merge branch into another branch

//Create a New Branch
git checkout -b [name_of_your_new_branch]
//First Push
git push --set-upstream origin [name_of_your_new_branch]

Here is what the above code is Doing:
1. git checkout -b [name_of_your_new_branch]
– Creates a new branch and also switches to it.
2. git push –set-upstream origin [name_of_your_new_branch]
– Pushes the branch to your remote repository, so others may access it.
– –set-upstream tells git to track this branch
