conda list --explicit > env.txt
#to use this file to back-up your environment
conda install --name myenv --file env.txt

1. conda list –explicit > env.txt
– conda list: lists all the packages in the current environment
– –explicit: tells conda to list the exact version of each package
– > env.txt: redirects the output of conda list to a file called env.txt
2. conda install –name myenv –file env.txt
– conda install: installs packages into an environment
– –name myenv: tells conda to install the packages into the environment called myenv
– –file env.txt: tells conda to install the packages listed in the file env.txt
